This building looks to create a sea facade. Sea facades in Pietermaai were most of them walls of protection. To put eyes on the shore could be a first step to a future sea line of recreation. Individuality and color, characteristics of each dwelling in Pietermaai Smal, are now overlapping and open to the sea.
